Centuries ago, in Japan’s mountain forests, the Shiba Inu was bred for a singular task, to hunt small game with speed, silence, and instinct. Agile and alert, it navigated dense brush without guidance, relying on its own judgment to track and flush prey.
Among Japan’s six native breeds, the Shiba is the smallest and one of the oldest. Set against Mt. Fuji, lanterns, and cherry blossoms, this design honours the Shiba’s place in Japan’s natural and cultural history.
